This workshop will introduce the process of casting small hollow-core glass sculptural forms and intricate vessels. Core-forming is one of the oldest forms of glass vessel making, and the process has been adapted for lost-wax kiln-casting. Additional techniques covered will include hollow-core mold making, wax sculpting, firing schedule development, color considerations, and basic cold-working.
