Wondering how to grow vegetables in the desert? We will discuss two planting methods that have different purposes depending on the vegetables or flowers you want to grow. Double-dug garden beds are in-ground gardens that build soil fertility through natural processes, while sub-irrigated beds are contained systems that conserve water. During this workshop we will create both and discuss pros and cons of both methods.
