In this three day workshop students will learn the fundamentals of lost wax glass casting by transforming a found or sculpted object into glass. This will include wax-sculpting, glass cutting and calculation, basic coldworking, and firing theory. Silicone mold-making will be discussed and demonstrated. Students will leave class with a finished glass object.

This course is suitable for all skill levels, including absolute beginners.

Class Schedule:

• Saturday, May 13: 10:00am - 6:00pm

• Sunday, May 14: 10:00am - 4:00pm

• Tuesday, May 16: 11:00am - 2:00pm
