In this three day online workshop students will learn the fundamentals of lost wax glass casting by transforming a found or sculpted object into glass. This will include wax-sculpting, glass cutting and calculation, basic coldworking, and firing theory. Silicone mold-making will be discussed and demonstrated. Students will leave class with a finished glass object. This course is suitable for all skill levels, including absolute beginners.
